The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC in 2022 secured a total of 3,785 convictions across the nation.
According to a statement from its official twitter handle, the EFCC recorded an improved performance of 70.5% from its 2021 record, and a 98.393% in prosecution.
In 2022, the EFCC only lost 41 cases which accounted for 1.07% of the total cases it handled as an anti-graft agency in Nigeria.
The Lagos Command of the EFCC recorded the most convictions with 765 cases, followed by the Ibadan command with 573 and Port Harcourt which emerged the third highest with 567 cases.
