The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.04% to close at 55,822.14 basis points as against 0.35% gain recorded previously to close at 55,801.14 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N11.44bn gain.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +8.92%
The total volume traded advanced by 103.92% to close at N311.48m, valued at N3.09bn and traded in 3,293 deals. TRANSCORP was the most traded stock by volume with 179.84m units traded while GTCO was the most traded stock by value which is put at N1.10bn
Sectoral performance was flat as eight (8) NGX sector index closed northward, eight (8) sector index closed southward and two (2) closed flat. The NGX GROWTH index advanced by 3.60% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGX Oil and Gas Index declined by 2.01% to top the losers’ chart.
The Gote index advanced by 1.00% to close at 150.82 basis points while the Toni index advanced by 0.94% to close at 126.20 basis points.
At the close of trading, the market recorded 18 gainers to 18 losers and 75 unchanged. TRANSCORP topped the list of gainers while CONOIL topped the list of losers.
Thus, market breadth closed flat as the Market Breadth Index (MBI) is put at -0.09x.
