The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.12% to close at 51,657.56 basis points as against a 0.67% gain recorded previously to close at 51,595.66 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N33.71bn gain.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +0.79%
The total volume traded declined by 17.39% to close at 265.73m, valued at N13.53bn and traded in 4,156 deals. BUACEMENT was the most traded stock by volume with 101.65m units traded while BUACEMENT was also the most traded stock by value which is put at N9.85bn
Sectoral performance was broadly positive as twelve (12) NGX sector index closed northward, three (3) closed southward and three (3) closed flat. The NGX GROWTH index advanced by 7.72% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGX-IND index declined by 0.77% to top the losers’ chart.
The Gote index declined by 0.01% to close at 136.21 basis points while the Toni index declined by 2.20% to close at 118.46 basis points.
At the close of trading, the market recorded 19 gainers to 12 losers and 69 unchanged. NAHCO topped the list of gainers while CHAMPION topped the list of losers.
