The extended negative market sentiment witnessed in 2018 with -17.81% loss continuedin 2019. As at December 20, 2019, The NSEASI recorded a -15.60% YTD loss.

Just as recorded in 2018, all NSE sector indices are on the wrong sideof positive and are flashing red as at the period under review.

The NSE Oil and Gas Index records the highest drop as it dipped by -23.09% YTD while the NSE AFRIBVI and AFRHDYI record +1.08% and +0.48% each YTD
