Head of Corporate and Government Relations, Olam Nigeria Mr Ade Adefeko in a recent interview with Proshare WebTV gave his key take away from the recent visit of President Emmanuel Macron to Nigeria.
It explored the interactions the French President had during his visit and the new drive to impact the African private sector to open more access to the development for the economy.
He said “The French President’s visit to the popular Afrika Shrine built by Late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti (Late) was an eye opener for a lot of people who feel that only politics can influence development”.
Adefeko speaking further asserted that the French, from historical perspective have penetrated the world through language, culture, sports and music or entertainment that details in to economies.
He explained further that Olam a company based in Singapore, and established 30 years ago in Nigeria signed an bilateral MOU with a French company Ceva Sante Animale S.A a leader in innovative poultry vaccines, to further develop poultry production in Nigeria.
According to him, The President noted that every individual should take risk to survive.
The Head Government Relations, Olam Nigeria noted that President Macron’s announcement of the French driven “Digital Africa Initiative” will support and encourage the growth of innovation in Africa, which is vital to boosting enterprise development.
He concluded that, President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Nigeria offers a new opportunity in strengthening the Franco Nigeria relations
