Borno State located in the North-East region of Nigeria, is one of the States that has been devastated by the insurgency in Nigeria, which led to destruction of properties, infrastructure, disruption of the education system, health services, businesses and even agricultural production.

The process of reconstruction, resettlement and rehabilitation in the State is an arduous task for the government, which has enjoyed support from the Federal Government, the Dangote Foundation, UN agencies and other Non-Governmental Organizations.

In a recent short interview with Proshare WebTV, Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State shares some of the plans in place to reposition the State.
